Refund Policy

This refund policy (“Policy”) sets forth the general guidelines, disclosures, and terms of your use of the matteblackrecords.com website (“Website” or “Service”) and any of its related products and services (collectively, “Services”). This Policy is a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you” or “your”) and Matte Black Records Ltd. (“Matte Black Records Ltd.”, “we”, “us” or “our”). If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to this agreement, in which case the terms “User”, “you” or “your” shall refer to such entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with the terms of this agreement, you must not accept this agreement and may not access and use the Website and Services. By accessing and using the Website and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy. You acknowledge that this Policy is a contract between you and Matte Black Records Ltd., even though it is electronic and is not physically signed by you, and it governs your use of the Website and Services.

Digital Products

Our policy is valid for a period of 14 calendar days from the date of the purchase. If you are not satisfied with the product, you can ask for a refund (excludes the processing fee of your credit card company). If the period of 14 days has lapsed since the purchase, we unfortunately can’t offer you a refund.

The following criteria must be met to qualify for a refund for digital products:

 

  • Customer’s account must be in good standing

  • Product must not be downloaded

  • Product malfunctions or doesn’t work as described

​

If the conditions listed above are not met, we reserve the right not to issue a refund. It’s important to keep in mind that there is often a difference between a product that is broken and a situation where you are receiving an error message. Error messages could be related to an incorrect setup, configuration or software and as a result the product is not working. All beat sales are final.

Additional Services

Please note that any additional services, custom work or technical support are non-refundable as our time cannot be recovered.

Cancelation and Rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule a booking, you must give notice at least 48 hours prior to the booked time. If this condition is met, you can ask for a refund (excludes the processing fee of your credit card company). If the condition is not met, or you cannot attend the rescheduled booking time, we reserve the right to keep full payment. However, we do understand extreme circumstances happen and will always try to accommodate you.

Changes and Amendments

We reserve the right to modify this Policy or its terms related to the Website and Services at any time at our discretion. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We may also provide notice to you in other ways at our discretion, such as through the contact information you have provided.

 

An updated version of this Policy will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Policy unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Website and Services after the effective date of the revised Policy (or such other act specified at that time) will constitute your consent to those changes.
